Department of Electrical Engineering
The Department of Electrical Engineering was started in the year 2010. The Department conducts four year Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering degree course affiliated to DBATU Lonenre. The course content includes the basics of Electrical Engineering and an exhaustive treatment on Electrical Machines, Electrical Networks, Electrical Power Systems, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Computer Aided Stability and Load Flow analysis. The course also gives a substantial exposure to Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, Microprocessor, Microcontroller and Embedded System. The Ten batches have passed out with good results and placement. The Department offers projects in the conventional and relevant thrust area of technology. The Department has full pledged laboratories to meet the requirements of University curriculum. The department has well qualified staff with expertise in Power Systems, Control Systems and VLSI & Embedded Systems, assisted by skilled supporting staff. Electrical Engineering Students Association (EESA), a Departmental organization provides a platform for students to exhibit their talents in various extracurricular activities. The Institution of Engineers (India) Students Chapter is very active in conducting technical activities in the Department. Realizing the significance of communication in global competition, Department arranges various innovative programs to improve communication skills of students.
The faculties are involved in research activity and in upgrading themselves with latest developments. The conferences attended by faculties and numbers of paper published by faculties are the testimony for the same. No. of conferences attended by faculty:150+ No of paper published by faculty are 70+. Our students have participated in more than 250 events at different levels
The Department believes in fair practice in all spheres of teaching learning process. The Department encourages future Technocrats to organize various events through which they can develop managerial skills, team work, etc.
The Department regularly conducts parents meet to appraise them about their ward’s progress. The suggestions given by parents have helped us a lot. Thus the Department aims to achieve excellence by taking all stake holders viz. students, parents & Faculties in confidence.

The Department of Electrical Engineering is committed to, graduating engineers who shall within a few years of graduation:
PEO-1: analyze & design of system tools and applications in the field of electrical engineering and allied branches.
PEO-2: apply the knowledge of electrical engineering to solve problems of social relevance, pursue higher education and research with modern tools.

Electrical Engineering graduates will be able to

- PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
- PO5: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
- PO6: The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
