Late Shri Ashokrao Mane

1954 - 2006

When Shri Ashokrao Mane dreamt of education, Shri Balsaheb Mane Shikshan Prasarak Mandal took its birth with the holy intention of upbringing the illiterate Mass in the rural part of south western Maharashtra. Shikshan Mandal is quenching the thirst of knowledge oriented people by establishing various Education Institutions. Hon. President Shri. Vijaysinh Mane and Hon. Executive President Shri. Vikasrao Mane and members of the board of Society are making significant contribution in opening up new doors and chartering new paths for the development of technical education and making all efforts to build an academic atmosphere in the institution and provide quality education.

Balasaheb Mane Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s roof. My father – Founder President of Shri. Balasaheb Mane Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Late Shri Ashokrao Mane, ‘sow’ the ‘seed’ of education in rural soil. Then only I can say proudly, we are serving to rural society through near about 30 various educational Institutions. From the very beginning, I paid special attention on quality education. Because I believe that only quality education can create & build ability in our students to expose real-time situation in current charging scenario. I am sure that after entering into AMGOI, you will enjoy & appreciate our campus which is spread across 14 acres of lush greenery with well-planned infrastructure. Our disciplined students well qualified and devoted teaching faculties & non-teaching staff is again our plus point. About R & D Cell

In a rapidly evolving academic environment, the Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions (AMGOI) recognizes the critical role of research in advancing knowledge and contributing to the development of innovative solutions to societal challenges. Research not only enriches the teaching-learning process but also fosters a culture of inquiry and curiosity. AMGOI encourages its faculty members to engage in meaningful research that aligns with national and global objectives, thereby contributing to the institution’s academic growth and development.

This Research Incentive Scheme has been designed to motivate faculty members to pursue high-quality research, publish their findings in reputed journals, engage in consultancy projects, and secure research funding from external sources. The scheme also aims to provide financial and leave incentives to faculty members to attend conferences, publish books and book chapters, and file intellectual property rights (IPR) claims.

Scope of the Scheme:

The Research Incentive Scheme covers the following activities:

• • Publications in reputed national and international journals.
  • Participation in and presentation of research papers at conferences and seminars.
  • Authoring books and book chapters.
  • Securing patents and intellectual property rights (IPR).
  • Engaging in consultancy projects with industry or governmental bodies.
  • Securing research grants from national and international funding agencies.

Attending seminars, research workshops, and faculty development programs (FDPs)

Objectives of R & D Cell:

• • Promote Quality Research: The scheme aims to motivate faculty members to produce high-quality research outputs in reputed journals, focusing on impactful and relevant work.
  • Encourage Innovation and Patenting: Faculty members are encouraged to invent, create, and apply for patents, helping them protect their intellectual property.
  • Support External Research Funding: The scheme incentivizes the submission of research proposals to national and international funding agencies to secure financial assistance for research projects.
  • Enhance Professional Development: Participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops is promoted through financial support, thereby fostering networking and continuous learning.
  • Consultancy and Industry Collaboration: Faculty members are encouraged to take up consultancy projects with industry partners, promoting practical applications of their research.

Institute Innovation Council

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) - Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutes

Introduction

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutes has been established under the guidance of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India. The primary objective of IIC is to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the institute by supporting students and faculty in transforming their ideas into viable prototypes and business ventures.

IIC- serves as a central hub for nurturing technological innovations, providing mentorship, and facilitating interactions with industry experts. It fosters a dynamic ecosystem where budding entrepreneurs receive the necessary resources and guidance to scale their ventures successfully.

Focus of IIC : 

IIC - is committed to building a vibrant local innovation ecosystem and establishing a start-up supporting mechanism within the institution. It aligns with the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) Framework, ensuring the institute's contribution to national innovation initiatives.

The key focus areas of IIC- include :

Establishing a structured innovation ecosystem to support young innovators.

Pre-incubation and scouting of ideas for entrepreneurial ventures.

Organizing entrepreneurship development programs (EDP, FDP, EAC) for skill enhancement.

Encouraging technology commercialization and fostering research-driven innovations.

Promoting social and strategic impact projects for the benefit of society.

 Functions of IIC :

To fulfill its mission, IIC- undertakes the following activities:

Conducting innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities as prescribed by MIC.

Identifying and recognizing student and faculty innovations, while sharing success stories.

Hosting workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals.

Building a mentor pool to support student innovators in refining their ideas.

Establishing a digital innovation portal to showcase projects developed by faculty and students.

Organizing hackathons, idea competitions, and innovation challenges in collaboration with    industry partners.

Networking with peer institutions and national entrepreneurship organizations to strengthen the innovation ecosystem.

Through these initiatives, IIC- aspires to cultivate a culture of innovation, equip students with entrepreneurial skills, and contribute to India's vision of becoming a global innovation hub.

• • Exam Planning & Scheduling – Prepare the academic calendar, set exam timetables, and coordinate with the affiliated university.
  • Question Paper Management – Ensure secure handling, moderation, and distribution of university and internal exam papers.
  • Student Registration – Facilitate student registration for university exams, ensuring eligibility and compliance.
  • Invigilation & Conduct – Organize invigilation duties, monitor exam halls, and ensure fair conduct of exams.
