I warmly welcome you to Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions,
Higher education in India is going through an exciting transformation. From the academic year 2025-26, AMGOI has been granted autonomous status. With this, we have redesigned our curriculum and made major improvements in how we deliver education. Our focus is now on continuous and holistic learning, rather than just preparing students for exams.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has been encouraging Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which focuses on what students actually learn and can do after completing their course. This approach ensures that our education system is more accountable and of higher quality. AMGOI has successfully adopted OBE across all programs and is committed to continuous academic improvement.
The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) gives students the flexibility to choose courses across different subjects and earn credits. We introduced CBCS in 2017-18 and have implemented it effectively. Understanding the global trends, we believe engineering students should also learn subjects from other branches and some advanced topics in their own field. To support this, we introduced the Minor programs in 2025-26.
Since becoming autonomous, AMGOI has made many positive changes to the traditional curriculum, creating a best learning environment.
