Welcome to the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (DSDE), a strategic initiative of Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions committed to equipping students with 21st-century skills and an entrepreneurial mindset essential for thriving in a dynamic global economy.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, education must go beyond textbooks—it must translate into tangible competencies, real-world exposure, and future-proof careers. At DSDE, our mission is to bridge the skill gap by integrating industry-driven programs, global certifications, and innovation-led learning environments into the academic fabric of our institution.
We have partnered with globally recognized platforms such as IBM SkillsBuild, Edunet Foundation Cisco Networking Academy, Infosys Springboard, Spoken Tutorial IIT Bombay, and NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime to deliver skill development that meets international benchmarks. Our collaboration with EduSkills, supported by AICTE, has further enabled the establishment of an Industry Centre of Excellence, offering virtual internships, faculty development programs, and access to the latest technological tools and content.
Through initiatives like the Acharya Chanakya Kaushalya Vikas Kendra (ACKVK) and PMKVY-aligned courses, we also support inclusive growth, ensuring that rural and semi-urban students have access to high-quality technical education and career-enhancing opportunities.
As the Head of this department, I firmly believe that every learner holds the potential to lead, innovate, and inspire. Our role is to unlock that potential through mentorship, skill-building, and industry integration.
